Phone Orders

You can call us toll free Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm CST or Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm CST at 1-866-776-2607 to place your order or mail it in by using our printable order form. If you have an online account set up, you can view the status of your order even if it was placed by phone.

Can't Find Product

Our search feature can be used to locate your items. On the top of every shopping page is a "Search" box. Type in a word to locate items containing that word in the name or description, or type in the item number to locate a specific item. If you are using more than one word in your search, click on "Advanced Search" and type the words in the box that appears.
If you can't find an item, it is possible that the item you are looking for was mistakenly not put on the website or has been discontinued and is no longer available for sale. Backorders

Backordered products are items that we normally carry in stock, but we have sold out of in our warehouse. We must wait for more product to arrive before we can send it to you. Items on backorder USUALLY take about 2 weeks to ship, but they can take longer. We make every effort to get the product in and ship the backordered items as soon as we can. You are not charged for backordered items until they ship and you may cancel them if we have not already sent it to you. Just call us toll free 866-776-2607 or email custserv@grunt.com.

Shop from Catalog

International Orders

Sgt Grit ships to other countries and APO/FPO addresses. There is an additional charge for shipments to international addresses but NOT to FPO/APO addresses. Shipping charges to international addresses are calculated by the weight of your package and the destination country. We will ship to the following countries: Austria, Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Cook Island, Costa Rica, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Greenland, Grenada, Guam, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lichtenstein, Luxemburg, Mexico, Marshall Islands, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City, and the Virgin Islands.

Time to Ship Orders

Almost every item on our website is in stock. If your item is in stock it will NORMALLY ship within 1 business day provided that the item does not already specify a time to ship (for example "Please allow 7-10 business days to receive") Customized items and drop-shipped items can take 2-3 weeks for delivery. Most orders take 3 to 5 business days to receive after being shipped. For orders that are shipped United States Postal Service, they can take up to 10 business days. After placing your order online you will receive an order confirmation by email. This email shows whether or not your items are on backorder.

Who Is Sgt Grit

"In March of 1969, when I got to Danang, Vietnam, I was a green 19 year-old radio operator with the 11th Marines. About that time, the movie, 'True Grit' came out with John Wayne, who played the part of an Oklahoma sheriff. A born and bred Okie, naturally, I got stuck with the nickname 'Grit'. I'd like to say it was because of my John Wayne type persona, but unfortunately, it was only because I was from Oklahoma.

As I moved up in rank, Grit moved up with me and I became 'Sgt Grit'. I was in Vietnam from March, 1969 to October, 1970 and loved it so much, I even extended my tour. When I started this business in 1989, my wife suggested I take back the name, Sgt Grit."
